Kynance Cove On the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall the National Trust’s Kynance Cove, located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is visited by up to two thousand people a day. Taking the place of a former quarry and diesel generator shed, the grass-roofed building with dry stone walls houses public toilets, outdoor shower facilities and a treatment plant. When approached from the South West Coast Path in either direction, the building is barely visible as it merges seamlessly into the steep landscape which surrounds it. |
